our process
the stoneS
We explore the island, searching for stones with just the right shape, feel, and energy.
Our stones formed over a billion years ago and have been ocean tumbled for thousands of years. We collect them in Nantucket on daily beach walks with our puppies.
the design
We create a one-of-a-kind design in wax for each stone. Then set the stone directly into the wax and use lost wax casting to melt the wax away and replace it with molten metal.
We are the only artists on the planet who cast with beach stones!
The finished Product
After casting, we remove the sprues, polish and tumble it to one-of-a-kind perfection.
Our beach stone jewelry is crafted and released in small batches.
